Last Will About the Book:  HOW FAR WILL A MADMAN GO TO ATTAIN THE ULTIMATE PRIZE?

A violent story of terror and death, the roots of which date back centuries, is at work when a city official is gunned down at a celebratory banquet in Stockholm.

WC's Review:  Reporter Annika Bengtzon finds time to galavant Sweden at all hours of the day to investigate the ritualistic murders of Nobel Prize winners. She neglects her troubled marriage and her children to solve a mystery that through time may have unraveled itself. When confronted with an incident involving her son at school and his bullying pals, she simply threatens to kill the young boys. It is most interesting that she feels no remorse.
Of course, the Nobel Murderer feels no remorse either, using the excuse that he was abused as a child.
Resourceful at all times, with every hint that lustful intrigue may liven the plot, Annika is relentless in her pursuit of justice but mechanical in her journey of what really matters.
